This exquisite Connemara Celtic Crystal pendant featurng a Celtic horse is inspired by the myth, and legend associated with Connemara and the Wild Atlantic Ocean.
The foamy waves of the Wild Atlantic Ocean are often described in Celtic poetry as the sea horses of Manannán mac Lir, an Irish sea god who was said to travel across the the seas in a chariot.
He was also considered an ancestor of the Conmhaícne Mara, the people for whom Connemara is named.
